General terms and conditions
of sale and services

Last updated: October 2026.

Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Services (“Terms”) set out the conditions under which the teachers working together under the name Sanstudio — Agueda Pascual, Mathias Rota and Morgane Iroise Le Pottier, each a sole trader (EI) — offer their yoga classes.

Sanstudio is not a company. Each class is taught by an independent teacher, who is the provider of that class and is paid directly. The contract is concluded between the student and the teacher who teaches the class.

They apply in particular to:

  • group yoga classes held in various venues in Paris;
  • pranayama (breathwork) and sound healing sessions;
  • workshops and events offered by Sanstudio;
  • retreats, once they are offered, subject to the specific conditions set out in article 14.

The features, venues, times, prices and terms specific to each service are specified when it is announced, in particular in Sanstudio's WhatsApp group.

Any booking of or participation in a class implies acceptance of these Terms.

Article 2 — Nature of the services

The services offered aim to support the practice of yoga through movement, well-being and bodily exploration.

The classes are not medical or paramedical acts and are not a substitute for a medical consultation, diagnosis or treatment.

Sanstudio's teachers do not make any medical diagnosis and do not claim to treat or cure any illness or health condition.

In the event of a health problem, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, medical treatment or any other particular situation that may affect the practice, students are invited to seek the advice of their healthcare professional before taking part.

Article 3 — Information and booking

Information about classes (venue, time, price, equipment to bring) is shared in advance in Sanstudio's WhatsApp group.

Bookings are made as indicated when each class is announced (message in the WhatsApp group, message to the teacher or any other specified means).

The number of places may be limited depending on the venue. A booking becomes firm once confirmed by the teacher and, where applicable, after payment.

Article 4 — Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included.

The applicable price is the one announced for the class concerned at the time of booking. Different prices may apply to workshops, events and retreats; they are then specified when announced.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made directly to the teacher who teaches the class, by the means they indicate (for example cash, bank transfer or a payment app).

Unless otherwise stated, payment is due at the time of booking or, at the latest, at the start of the class.

An invoice can be provided on request by the teacher concerned.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal

Classes booked for a specific date and time are leisure services provided on a specific date. In accordance with article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, they are not subject to the right of withdrawal. The cancellation and rescheduling conditions set out in article 7 apply.

The same applies to retreats, which take place on specific dates and whose cancellation conditions are set out in their specific conditions.

Article 7 — Cancellation and rescheduling by the student

Any cancellation must be notified to the teacher at least 12 hours before the scheduled start of the class.

When the cancellation is made within this time, any amount already paid can be carried over to a future class, as specified by the teacher.

In the event of late cancellation or an unannounced absence, the class may be considered due and cannot be rescheduled, subject to any mandatory legal provisions.

In exceptional circumstances or cases of force majeure, a rescheduling solution may be offered where possible.

Article 8 — Cancellation or changes by the teacher

A class may exceptionally be cancelled, rescheduled or moved, in particular in the event of the teacher's illness, unavailability of the venue, an insufficient number of participants, bad weather for an outdoor class or force majeure.

Students are informed as soon as possible, in particular via the WhatsApp group.

When the class cannot be rescheduled, the student can obtain a refund for the class not given or carry it over to a future class.

Article 9 — Late arrival

For the smooth running of the session and out of respect for the group, we recommend arriving a few minutes before the class starts.

In the event of late arrival, the teacher may ask the student to wait for a suitable moment to join the group, in particular during meditation, pranayama or sound healing. Late arrival does not entitle the student to a price reduction.

Article 10 — Safety and yoga practice

Yoga is a physical activity that may involve certain risks, including pain, falls or injury.

Each student is invited to practise within their own limits and to follow the instructions given during the class.

Students agree to inform the teacher, before or during the class, of any injury, pain, functional limitation, pregnancy, recent surgery or other relevant factor that may affect their practice.

Students remain free to stop an exercise or the class immediately if they feel pain, discomfort or any other unusual symptom.

The teacher may adapt or stop a practice when they consider that a situation presents a risk or that an adaptation is necessary.

These provisions do not constitute a waiver by the student of the rights and remedies they enjoy under the law.

Article 11 — Breathing practices and pranayama

Some breathing techniques, especially those involving breath retention or significant changes in breathing rhythm, may require particular precautions depending on each person's health.

Students must inform the teacher of any situation that may be relevant to the practice, in particular pregnancy, cardiovascular problems, recent surgery or any other particular medical situation. If in doubt, it is recommended to seek the advice of a healthcare professional beforehand.

The teacher may offer an adaptation or exclude certain techniques when they consider it necessary.

Article 12 — Sound healing

Some sessions may include sound healing practices and the use of singing or vibrating bowls.

When bowls are used near or in contact with the body, students must report beforehand any medical situation or implanted medical device they think may be relevant.

If in doubt about whether a practice is compatible with their health or with a medical device, students should seek the advice of the relevant healthcare professional.

The teacher may adapt or exclude a practice when they consider it necessary.

Article 13 — Venues and equipment

Classes take place in various venues in Paris (rooms, partner studios or, where applicable, outdoors), specified when each class is announced.

Students agree to follow the rules and instructions specific to each venue.

Depending on the venue, students may need to bring their own mat; equipment details are shared in advance. Students remain responsible for their personal belongings and equipment.

Article 14 — Retreats

Sanstudio may offer retreats. Their programme, price, payment terms (including any deposit) and cancellation and refund conditions will be set out in specific conditions shared before any booking.

In the event of any conflict, these specific conditions prevail over these Terms.

Article 15 — Personal data

Students' personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy set out in the site's Legal notice.

Article 16 — Applicable law, mediation and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of any difficulty, students are invited to first contact the teacher concerned or Sanstudio at [Sanstudio email address], to look for an amicable solution together.

In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer students can use a consumer mediator free of charge: [mediator’s name and contact details].

Failing agreement, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts. Consumer students may in particular refer the matter to the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded.

Article 17 — Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be amended to reflect, in particular, changes in Sanstudio's activity or in applicable regulations.

The Terms applicable to a booking are those in force at the time it is made.
